Admittedly I'm probably the only one who cares...

That being said, Happy Birthday USAF. Today the USAF celebrates it's 66th year of bombing the living fuck out of our enemies great and small

I congratulate the USAF on 66 years of not being part of the Army. Long may you frustrate them and may there be fewer pilots in your future.

Happy birthday, USAF. May the days of old when you could field planes more than up to the job in numbers that ensured you could DO the job come around again.
Not to mention the people sending the AF to do a job actually knowing what they are doing. Happy birthday, USAF. Um-the US Air Force, even in its current diminished state, is still quite large and might include minors, so what, exactly, do I do with the booze, stripper, and birthday cake?
We can always order out for more cake (or booze and strippers, at that). Contact B4 to figure out who is legally entitled to anything beyond the cake and just see to it that everybody on the force gets a slice.

The Air Force is officially eligible for Medicare.

Just as a fun fact sort of thing, here is a small very incomplete list of some of the famous people who have been a part of the US Air Force over the years. No, I didn't make the list.

Ross Perot Jr.
Dennis Rader - BTK Killer
President Ronald Reagan
Bob Ross
Gene Roddenberry
Roy Scheider
David 'Sinbad' Adkins
George Steinbrenner
Morgan Freeman
George Carlin
Theodor Seuss Geisel - "Dr. Seuss"
Don "Mr. Wizard" Herbert
Charlton Heston
Chuck Norris
Johnny Cash
Hunter S. Thompson

So the Air Force has presidents, scientists, astronauts, comedians, actors, artists, writers, musicians and fitness equipment salesmen in their alumni list.

As well as my grandfather, who served with distinction during WWII - even evading capture by German forces after being forced to crash-land on the island of Corfu, off the coast of Greece.

Happy Birthday, USAF.

I'm not sure having Raygun Reagan and and Gene 'It ain't Star Trek unless I say it is' Roddenberry amongst their ranks is something to make the USAF proud about having had them, really.

Bats, Gene Roddenberry might have been a flawed human like the rest of us, but his particular views on Star Trek canon are so low on the list of whatever flaws and achievements he had as to not matter in the fucking slightest.

Shall we talk instead about the German Army?
