Comic book fan, cosplay aficionado, and 15-year veteran deputy sheriff Michael Wilson (@knightmage) brought cheer to countless families on December 18 when he strolled into his local Ohio TOYS R US dressed as Dragon Ball's Piccolo and paid off everyone's layaways.





He posted pictures on Facebook, adding, "There's going to be some happy people when they find out their layaway's was paid off thanks to Piccolo and Drunken Bob's Creations! Tis the season."

He might not be the best fighter on the team, but he makes up for it in other ways.

Piccolo was always the most cerebral of the bunch, something which at least I appreciated. Though Vegeta's combination of brains, badass, and bravado will always be my favourite.

Good on Sheriff Michael Wilson for doing that though. Apparently it's not uncommon during the holidays for people to come in and pay off other's layaways, and it's always nice to hear stories about it. Also, that's actually a pretty damn good Piccolo costume, it almost looks natural.
