Things of note:
That's BSG on the TV. And naturally LA on the lappy.
Empty bottles piled behind the TV. And that's only like 2 weeks' worth...
Mountain Dew bottle next to a calculator and pages of physics work. Then an empty Cheetos bag. Then my ELA and Calc books.
It's tough to see, but there's a candy bar wrapper near the headphones. It's a winner! A free candy bar! But I have to send it in, meaning I have to pay half the price for postage anyway...
On top: little SD Gundam Mk. II model, and Viper and Raider toys.
And of course, a Queen poster on the wall.

when i actually get this place cleaned up because i have all kinds of cool stuff goin on.

I hate you Lindar. Do you know how hard it was to find a black case and keyboard that didn't suck? And a black display or mouse? Forget about it.

well...see... my case has a LOVELY gouge down the side from when i moved in ...egads fall 2005...

I dropped my poor baby off the front of a cart and he met a wall... on the most part he was ok other than the gouge in the paint.

the white dvd reader is in because i burnt out my black one and had to start stealing parts from my brothers computer since he's moved and said he doesn't want it anyway so i've been taking parts as i need them.

uhm...and i didn't even look for them. they came to me when i made him. Puck is my baby. and he's almost 4 years old.

Cry me a river. ALL of my external-access drives are white (light grey, actually) because you can't get a quality CD/DVD/floppy drive in black for love or money. I'M not entirely sure I could get one, period.

I think Puck is the only Guy that I honestly think i can depend on most of the time. Not to mention the fact that he doesn't ask me for much in return for everything i make him do for me. tehehehe

Both. The bloody bastard is BLACK. Case, keyboard, CRT, mouse, ALL black. Do you know how long I had to search for a black case that WASN'T the next best thing to useless? A dark keyboard that didn't suck?
A black CRT that was worth having leave alone its money wasn't to be had PERIOD and have fun finding NON-righthanded mice leave alone quality ones (in black? Bwahahahah). You got a completely black rig!

That's been a definite NO for quite some years. There used to be, and still are, generic mice, but the vast majority over here is right-handed. And regardless very few are black to begin with.

Well I didn't care enough to MAKE my mouse, keyboard and CRT black (which I've done before) so obviously I don't mind all that much but I'm still peeved about you being able to get black hardware while I couldn't. So there.

*huffs* well so there yourself. He's MY baby, i can't help that he happened to be black. NOt like he had a choice or anything.

Uh...black cases, monitors, etc. are NOT hard to find. Where do you live? The fucking middle east has enough black cases.

What bearing exactly has the availability of black hardware in the Middle East (of indetermined quality) got to do with wether or not such would be available in my corner of Germany?

Because the middle east is not where you expect to find good components and even I found some incredibly fast, I find it hard to belive there arn't any in Germany or europe at all.

Yes, I have an ARC-170 sitting on top of my monitor and a snowspeeder sitting on top of my tower.


No wall is complete without a 2D starmap that uses hexes. Hexes equals a lot of win.

No packaged PSU is going to be worth it, even if it's rated 400W, get a real PSU.
All those numbers are fucking easy to get, metal, I'm not sure, but not hard, Lian Li cases, anything, post on SDN for good case reccomendations.

You wanted, I found. Other black keyboards are more generic, but a quick google search turns up quite a few. By chance I was lately in a local store looking for a spare keyboard, bottom prices, nice black ones. And I have a hard time beliving selection here is worse then Germany.

A black LCD would simpler have a longer span and offer compareable display quality, while being far easier to find.

First one, notebook so meh, but still something. Only partially black, but kicks ass.
