#1 Talk of Bush in 2012 (CNN video)

Post by The Minx »

Video Link

I don't know what is more disturbing: that another Bush is being spoken about with regards to the presidency, that GWB is apparently tied with Obama in opinion polls (according to this video), that I would prefer to see a Bush in office than Palin or Romney at this point, or that the media is already talking about the next presidential election.

He has said before now that he's out, but not everyone believes him.

What do you guys think about this?

If he somehow, through some dark twist of fate (and Rove) becomes the 2012 nominee, I predict many in America will follow some Canadian university students' example, and build shoe cannons.

More seriously, their current front-runners include Palin at this point, so seeing Bush the Lesser's name mentioned isn't too much of a shock.

Well first off he can't run. Forbidden. Illegal. Unconstitutional.

Second off, let's focus on realistic threats here. Rove doesn't do political offices, that's way to out in the open for him.

Third, is CNN that desperate for attention? Or are we as a people really that out of touch with our own laws?

Um, guys: its' JEB Bush that's being spoken about in the video, hence "another Bush" as opposed to GWB. I only mentioned GWB because they spoke of him in the video, hinting that the "Bush brand" wasn't as tainted now as it was two years ago.

In retrospect, that post of mine was probably a bit unclear. Sorries. :???:

No worries, and I wouldn't worry about Jeb either.

My fault, I misread (regarding Jeb Bush). However... yeah, I'll wait and see.
